Visceral Manipulation

The visceral system (organ system) is believed to have interconnected synchronicities between motions of all organs and structures of the body.

When organ movement is restricted due to abnormal tone, adhesions and displacements (from trauma, surgeries, inflammation, infection, etc), it works against the body's other organs, membranes, fascial and osseous structures causing pain and affeects organ function.

Visceral Manipulation (VM) is organ specific fascial mobilization.  Using gentle pressure, VM helps the body restore the organ mobility and in turn, its function.

Having its origin from ancient cultures from centuries ago, VM has evolved to its present day form by Dr. Jean Barral, supported by his extensive clinical and research work.
